"You have freed our fair town of a great evil. A threat that has laid dormant for over a century, but a threat nonetheless." said Crowdac in a powerful voice as the crowd listened intently.
"Not only have you liberated this town from the threat of Alystaire's influence..." continued Crowdac, "but you have by all accounts freed a once powerful servant of good from the yoke of evil! For this we thank you and on behalf of the town of Reavers' Rest I welcome you the Reavers returned!"
The newly christened Reavers looked to one another and grinned. Cassim seemed escpecially proud having come so far from such humble beginnings. Aunrae and Killara, who so often felt like outsiders in the world of man now walked amongst them as heroes. Callista basked in the glory that she new was her destiny, but Amalielle wondered if this celebration was perhaps premature.
"Though the Reavers' Rest Inn is the finest establishment in town..."
"It's the only one in town!" someone in the crowd interupted to a combination of laughter and admonition.
Crowdac gave the man a stern look then continued, "it is only fitting that our resident heroes be granted a proper dwelling. We citizens of Reavers' Rest gift to you the former tower of Alystaire. We offer this to you in hopes that you will stay and strengthen our humble community with your presence."
Again, more applause rang out. Crowdac ended his speech by inviting all in attendance to a reception at the Reavers' Rest Inn for feasting and drinking and so began the second incarnation of the Reavers.
