AIOKA (published 01/29/2013)
Shi'ndiira entered her tent feeling quite satisfied that she had secured two of the most capable hunters working in Vaasa. Her confidence quickly fled as she felt the cold promise of death pressed against her throat.
Aioka whispered in Shi'ndiira's ear, "your illusions may have fooled Chalcedon and the Tuigan, but they do not fool me drow."
Shi'ndiira struggled to turn her head but Aioka pressed the impossibly sharp blade of her katana against the elf's throat drawing a small line of blood. How could this human be so silent as to take a drow unaware? And how could she see through the illusion? Such a thing should not be possible thought Shi'ndiira. "What is it you want?" she asked through clenched teeth.
"I want what was promised to Chalcedon and the Tuigan... and more."
"You will have it, just release me and you will have all you desire!" promised the drow.
Aioka, shoved the drow priestess to the ground, sheathed her magnificent sword and was gone before Shi'ndiira could turn to face her. This one is dangerous... but a valuable addition to my plans, Shi'ndiira thought as she rubbed the paper-thin cut on her throat. "You will get everything you desire welp and when this is over I will bestow Kiaransalee's blessing upon you," she vowed softly.
