SESSION 3 (published 01/30/2013)

The party sets out into Vaasa on their way to the town of Reavers Rest.  On the way they are ambushed by a pack of Yetis.  The Yetis knock Calepheros unconscious and deliver greivous wounds on the other party members as well.

     After killing several yetis the ground begins to shake.  The yetis flee and leave the heroes to face the unseen threat.  The earth erupts and a huge worm-like creature bursts from beneath the ground and attacks!  Callista is snatched up in the creature's maw and savagely mauled.  She fights back valiantly but the Remorhaz swallows her whole, it's digestive tract burning Callista with intense magical heat.

     As the party battles to kill the monster Callista tries to cut her way out of the belly of the beast but to no avail.  After being continuously weakened by Aunrae's summoned shadow the Remorhaz finally succombs to the relentless onslaught of heroes.  Callista is able to cut herself free and the heroes find a treasure of undigested precious slag and gems in the creature's bowels.

     Cassim does not trust Calapheros and moves to search his unconscious form, but as he approaches Calapheros awakens and Cassim helps his recover instead.

     After several days of rest and travel the party is caught in a terrible blizzard and moves into the hills to find shelter.  The party finds a cave and Torvaagh smells the scent of Kobalds and something.... else.
